L40 (Classic) series lights, LED (Light-Emitting Diode) type, with a power of 40 Watts and a luminance of 3960 lumens, are equipped with heads with a fixed focus and lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery packs with capacities from 15.6Ah up to 42Ah. They feature a tilt switch with a rubber cap.
The color of the light emitted by LED diodes has a color temperature of 6500°K, which gives a slightly blue tint. Thanks to this, during diving, the point of light is better visible even in very bright water, which facilitates communication between divers.
A characteristic feature of the fixed-focus head is a highly focused (12°) beam of light with a distinct glow. It is an excellent basic light for diving in caves, wrecks or oceans.
The Goodman’s handle is wide enough to use with dry gloves in cold water. The handle is height adjustable and the thread is reinforced so that it does not corrode under the influence of salt water.
It is also equipped with a rubber cord that allows for a more convenient change of the hand holding the light head while riding the scooter.
The L40 light head has a built-in LED indicator, located on the right side of the head and marked „battery indicator”.
The LED shows the battery’s health status and provides information about the current battery charge level.
When the battery is turned on, the LED indicates the following modes:
- continuous green: 100% – 16% of charge capacity;
- continuous red: 15% – 6%;
- red, intermittent: 5% – 0.1%;
